Super Mario Run is getting its biggest content update to date. The update, set to launch on September 29, will add a new world to the game’s main story mode, a brand-new game mode, and a new playable character. The new mode, called Remix 10, allows players to play remixed stages in short bursts. Players will play through the bite-sized levels 10 at a time while attempting to collect rainbow colored bonus medals. Collecting bonus medals and completing levels will allow players to build new items in their Mushroom Kingdom and even unlock Daisy as a playable character. Remix 10
Released after much silence, King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon went live worldwide with it’s 2.1.0 “large-scale renewal update” on the app store for both iOS and Android earlier this week on September 12. The app originally soft launched in Australia back in October of last year, and only recently launched worldwide with the recent 2.1.0 update. While the original King’s Knight was released in 1986 for the NES, its sequel —Wrath of the Dark Dragon— is a mobile game retaining core elements of the original (a vertical auto-scrolling shooter) while adding in online four player co-op and more.

Assassin’s Creed is returning to mobile devices and the Spanish Inquisition in a newly announced mobile game, Assassin’s Creed Rebellion. Rebellion is a free-to-play strategy RPG being developed between Ubisoft and Behaviour Interactive. Players will be able to build their own assassin’s brotherhood and recruit from a roster of over 40 assassins. Characters from across the series will be featured, such as Ezio, Aguilar, and Machiavelli, as well as 20 new characters created for Rebellion.
