Too Far Gone | Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card

Those pesky Clow Cards are at it again in the new trailer for Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card. On December 1, 2017 a new trailer was released for the sequel to the widely popular anime adaptation of Cardcaptor Sakura. This new anime sequel, produced by MADHOUSE, joins a growing list of anticipated series for the 2018 winter anime season. With the premiere of the show taking place next year on January 7, fans will be excited to hear that Crunchyroll has already announced that the show will be simulcast on their service. Alongside returning Japanese voice talent Morio Asaka, the director of Cardcaptor Sakura and its two movies, will take up the mantle once more with Clear Card.

Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card takes place directly after the events of Cardcaptor Sakura. After sealing away the Clow Cards, Sakura Kinomoto returns to everyday life and enters into middle-school. One night, after a prophetic dream involving a mysterious cloaked figure, Sakura finds that the Clow Cards she worked so hard to seal away have become clear, consequently losing all of their magical power. Now her quest begins anew: to seal away the clear cards and to determine why such an event occurred. Check out the all new trailer embedded below.
