Bloodborne to Get Comic Series in 2018

Too Far Gone | Bloodborne

It’s been two years since Bloodborne released on the PlayStation 4 in and since then it has charmed many fans through its unique world and classic Souls-esque gameplay, managing to sell over two million copies worldwide. While a sequel is out of sight for the fresh IP, new memorabilia does infrequently get announced: design works, soundtracks, figurines, and things built off the universe of Bloodborne. One recent announcement that adds to the Bloodborne universe, in a different way, is an official comic titled Bloodborne: Death of Sleep to be published by Titan Comics (pictured below). Having also worked on Dark Souls: The Breath of Andolus and Dishonored: The Wyrmwood Deceit, Titan Comics is no stranger when it comes to adapting video game IPs. Death of Sleep is to be written by Ales Kot (Change, Material, Zero), and illustrated by Piotr Kowalski (Wolfenstein, SEX, Dark Souls: The Breath of Andolus).

While reception to the Dark Souls comic was lukewarm at best, one can hope that Bloodborne’s Death of Sleep gets better treatment. Information and further details regarding the work remains scarce, but for now the comic is scheduled for a Q1 2018 release. What say you, good hunter, is this note fine or foul?
